What is percale?

Percale is a cotton weave with a glazed surface. It is a simple type of fabric that has a smooth, crisp appearance.

Percale sheets can be made from different types of cotton. The most common type is Egyptian cotton that is grown in Egypt and picked from the plant when it is ripe.

Percale sheets are typically thicker than other types of bedsheets such as sateen, flannel, and jersey knit. They come in standard king sizes or twin-size fitted sheets.

What is sateen?

Sateen is a new fabric, designed by Caruso, that is infused with nano-silver particles. The fabric has the capability to shut down bacteria and reduce odor.

Sateen is a new fabric developed by Caruso that includes silver particles in its design. The use of these silver particles makes the fabric antibacterial, able to reduce odor-causing bacteria on its surface, and resistant to wrinkles.

What are the advantages and disadvantages of each type of fabric?

Sateen and percale are two different types of cotton fabric – both of them have their pros and cons.

Sateen fabric is a type of cotton fabric with a brushed surface that is characterized by a satin-like sheen. It’s very soft and delicate, but also fragile. It’s more expensive than percale because it takes more time to produce. On the other hand, it does not wrinkle as much as percale fabric.

Percale is a type of cotton fabric that has been brushed up to eight times which creates a soft, durable cloth with a smooth surface that has less luster than sateen fabric. It’s also cheaper than sateen because it doesn’t need so much time to produce it. However, it wrinkles easier than sateen
